Beamcast holds the dashboards, saved queries, and metric definitions your team already relies on. Rather than rebuilding that work, Strand imports it directly, so BI metrics sit next to live source data instead of in a separate, often stale, reporting layer.

How it works

Connect your Beamcast workspace and choose which dashboards and metric definitions to bring in. Cortex pulls the underlying queries on a scheduled basis and unifies them with the live data already in your graph, so a metric defined in Beamcast and a number coming straight from a connected source are reconciled rather than duplicated.

Configure

Manage the Beamcast connection from the integrations panel, where dashboards and metric definitions are selected per workspace. Refresh schedules can be set independently for each imported dashboard, since some metrics need daily updates and others are fine refreshing weekly. Metric definitions can be edited in Strand without touching the original Beamcast dashboard.
